Wonder by Beth Lord

Wonder

Does it happen to you often now?

If I’m going, to be honest with you, not-so-much for me either.

But it happened for me the other day around five, after running errands.

It was a glorious Saturday, Summer day, and I felt timeless.

I opened my car door expecting nothing.

Got out.

And then I saw it.

I blinked, and then I focused.

Seven years ago when I started this company, I felt no one was listening to me, and I was unheard. I didn’t understand the process of what I had given to my children. I gave my children my heart, and then they were grown and then they were gone.

I felt anger and betrayal because now I had nothing. I had nowhere to turn. So I t Read More
